FLOODING AT REDBANK

These are some photos i took of Redbank during the flood i took these on the 12th of January 2011 when the water was at its highest. We were cut off for three days with no power but compared to some people out there that have lost everything that is very minor. There is still a lot of water laying in low areas but most roads are passable.

JACKS 9TH BIRTHDAY

Jack's 9th birthday we went down to the water and had a picnic. He had a bowling party with all his friends the next day.

EMILY WITH HER AWARD

Emily got an award the first week of school for being so good in class. She is clever as well as beautiful just love that girl.

FIRST DAY AT NEW SCHOOL.

I took this photo of Jack and Emily on the first day of school they have just changed schools and were a bit nervous but they love it. They look so smart in there new school uniforms.

EMILY LOVES TO HOLD THE FISH

Emily loves to hold the fish when she catches them poor things they must be real happy when we go home and they get put back into the ocean.

LOOKING FOR FISH AND CRABS

The kids love to go to the beach when the tide is out and catch the small fish and crabs that are left behing in small pools of water. I dont think the poor fish like it very much. There are usually thousands of tiny crabs just marching across the sand and they love to watch them all burrow into the sand when they feel anyone getting near to them.
